Today, technology is widely used in the field of dentistry as in every field. With the development of technology, every stage of the treatment can be digital, from taking impressions to making a model or producing a prosthesis. For this purpose, intraoral scanners designed for use in both clinical and laboratory environments, three-dimensional printers or scrapers for use in the production phase are designed.

İntraoral Scanner

Thanks to the intraoral scanners that make 3D scanning, the image of the inside of the mouth can be transferred to the digital environment. These scanners are generally used to measure fixed prostheses. After the necessary mouth preparations are made for the preparation of crowns, bridges or implanted prostheses, the image in the mouth is converted to digital data with the help of the scanner tip. These data can be stored in a computer environment, transmitted to the laboratory, or models of desired sizes can be obtained through three-dimensional printers. Intraoral scanning images can be synchronized with three-dimensional computed tomography images, and implant planning can also be made in digital environment.
